One Night at the Miami Viceroy
I love a good staycation. In December, my boyfriend surprised me with dinner at Swine in Coral Gables (the shrimp and grits was aaaaamazing!) and one night at the Viceroy Miami. I've always wanted to stay at the Viceroy because one, Kelly Wearstler designed it and two, I've heard nothing but good things.
We arrived shortly after 10 p.m. and, believe it or not, I took a long soak in the amazing bathroom and knocked out by 11:30 p.m. I was tired. We did jet-skis earlier that day around noon and the sun was no joke.
I took a lot of pictures and had to choose the best photos so this post wouldn't be a mile long. I do regret not getting pictures of the pool or spa. Sadly, my phone died.
Viceroy Miami Lobby
The Viceroy Miami Lobby. You either hate it or you love it. There's really no in between.
Viceroy Miami Vignette
I love all the vignettes in this hotel. This brass asymmetrical console is gorgeous! Kelly Wearstler did her thing.
Viceroy Miami Elevator Lobby
This is the view when walking to the elevators. There's always something to see at this hotel. There is not one corner left undone.
Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Entry
I really loved the use of closet space in this hotel. See why in the next couple of pictures.

Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Bathroom
The bathroom was my favorite aspect of the hotel room. It's nice and spacious with floor to ceiling windows in the corner suites.

Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Bathroom Vanity
At night this space is beautiful because of the lights from downtown Miami.
Viceroy Miami Corner Suite
I love the grasscloth wallpaper used on the walls. It brings another layer of texture to the room.
Viceroy Miami Anniversary Card
We received a free bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Most nice hotels give you something if you let them know you are visiting for a special occasion.

Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Desk
My least favorite aspect of the hotel room was the tv. It kind of tells the age of the hotel. I'm not going to lie, the hotel could use some updates in other places as well.
Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Living Space
I love a good lounge chair. This one reminds me of the Capri at Minotti.
Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Carpet Detail
The carpet was a nice feature as well. Carpet can be boring and this is far from boring. It was super soft too.
Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Canopy Bed
I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the bed until the morning. It was messy so I took a partial shot. It was comfy though.
Viceroy Miami Corner Suite Coffee Table
I loved this coffee table. The veneer is cool and I really like the way they matched it.
Next, I would love to visit the Viceroy Anguilla. It looks amazing and it was also designed by Kelly Wearstler.
