Grad School Thesis Project.

A concept boutique hotel based in the Miami Design District. KAMA is a hotel that focuses on the guest experiencing a rebirth during their stay.

Concept Statement:

The design seeks to rebalance and encourage guests to make deeper connections which will manifest spiritual renewal. Through the intermingling of receptive feminine energy with penetrating masculine energy, the goal is to inspire guests to be themselves on the most genuine level. This will be accomplished through the strategic use of spatial depth, light, mystery and prospect refuge. Texture and rhythm also serve as big influences to create an heightened sensual experience.

Asia Penthouse bath

Master Bathroom

A concept master bath renovation for an active music entrepreneur. This space is attached to a meditation and yoga space. The client’s home serves as a sacred space where energy means everything to her. The concept was to give her a light and bright bath that encourages relaxation and rejuvenation.

The custom vanity serves as the jewel of the space. The light wood brings out the warm tones in the marble cladded walls. The blue in the cuban tiles picks up on the blues from the ocean which can be seen from both the free standing tub and the oversized terrace.

A dated master bathroom gets a much needed refresh! The design plans give an idea of mood, finishes and the overall vision.

The client wanted a larger bath and a freestanding tub. They also requested a separate water closet so the bathroom could be used by more than one person at a time.
